At “Mageela Cottage” your doggie enjoys all the same benefits as the bigger guys staying in “Mageela Kennels” but with the added extras as outlined below which are especially designed to cater for the specific needs of the littlies.
- Specialised toy and small breed accommodation cottage on a separate adjoining 1 acre property to the main “Mageela Kennels” complex.
- Safe and secure fully enclosed brick and tile building with roof-to-floor fine mesh penning for each and every kennel. Splash guard brick wall footings and canvas curtains ensure individual comfort and privacy.
- Air-conditioned for summer comfort.
- Draft free and insulated for winter (No winter drafts are possible in this fully enclosed kennel - the kennel building is just like a house except with kennels built inside).
- Proven daily routine keeps your dog mentally stimulated and suitably exercised each and every day.
- Lovely “cottage garden” settings surrounding the kennel and exercise yards.
- Toy and small breeds are exercised in their own secure yards completely out of sight and away from their medium and large breed cousins.
- Lovely treed, shaded and grassed yards with ample shelter for dry weather and summer exercise/play.
- Enclosed, roofed concrete yards for sheltered wet weather exercise and play available soon.
- Ample outside play times each day weather permitting no matter how many boarders we have (in most cases at least 6 hrs per day unless raining and if your doggy is happy to be outside for this long).
- Home cooked chicken mince, rice and vegies with Tuckertime roll and quality biscuit provided as a standard meal.
- Special diets and medications catered for by prior arrangement.
- Soft music played 24hrs per day.
- 24hr veterinary assistance at call.
- Free hydrobath upon departure for stays longer than 5 days. All other hydrobaths are $15.00 per wash.
- All weather parking for drop-off and pick-up soon to be available (i.e. cool in summer and dry in winter).

Price List
$23.00 per day - Toy and most small dogs.
$24.00 per day - Larger small dogs eg Cocker Spaniels, Larger Spoodles, Beagles, other larger small dogs.
